The Capture V3: Unmatched Access, Unmatched Security

The all-new Capture V3 is the most secure, convenient, and accessible way to carry a camera. Unlike a camera strap, Capture keeps the camera rigidly stable during activities like hiking and biking. Unlike a camera bag, Capture allows instant access to the camera with the click of a button.

The Capture V3 features a metal clip that clamps to any backpack strap, belt, or bag, and requires a separately available Arca tripod-compatible plate that mounts to the camera's bottom. The camera locks into the clip, held firmly and securely, with a lockable quick-release button for removal.

Designed for Versatility and Durability

The Capture V3 is 30% lighter, 20% narrower, and 20% lower profile than the previous version. It features an all-metal build with an anodized finish for increased durability and smoothness. The embedded grip on the backplate provides maximum slip resistance.

The Capture V3 can hold well over 200 lbs., making it suitable for the heaviest professional camera and lens combinations. It is weatherproof and rust-resistant, making it suitable for use in any environment.

Compatibility and Accessories

The Capture V3 clip can connect to any strap up to 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) wide and 0.88 inches (2.2 cm) thick. Additional plates and kits are available to carry binoculars, lenses, and GoPro cameras.

The Capture V3 is designed to work seamlessly with all Peak Design straps, and the included Standard Plate is compatible with most Arca-type tripods. For Manfrotto RC2 compatibility, the Dual Plate and Capture (Clip Only) can be purchased separately.

For those who already have Capture plates, the Capture V3 Clip can be purchased as a standalone unit, requiring only the separately available Peak Design plate to operate.
